what a disappointment! no bedside lamps meant I had to stumble around in the dark. I thought luxury meant a little effort to make guests comfortable. plus, I was really hoping for a complimentary upgrade after all these inconveniences, but it clearly wasn’t in the cards for me. We had an amazing time at Lucky Family Cottage! The rooms are spacious and comfy, complete with a large bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast options were delicious, and being just south of Monkey Strip made it a peaceful escape while still being close to the action.
Water pressure in the shower could be improved.

The King Suite with Pool View was super spacious and comfy. I loved having a nice balcony with a little sofa seat. The bed was really comfy, and the room got cleaned every day, which was great. Plus, breakfast was always delivered on time, and I especially enjoyed the banana pancakes. It felt peaceful being just off the main road in Ubud.
